Service projects are one of the ways that the Cumberland County Chapter of the North Carolina Educational Office Professionals (CCC-NCAEOP) helps the students of Cumberland County and the community. CCC-NCAEOP is currently participating in SEVERAL projects. Some of these are on-going projects, and we encourage and invite you to participate with us. For more information about any of these projects, please contact Heidi Berryhill at 678.2753.
Box Tops for Education and Campbell Soup Labels
CCC-NCAEOP collects and distributes Box Tops for Education to Cumberland County Schools that are collecting them. Send your labels to Heidi Berryhill at the Educational Resource Center (ERC) and she make sure they are distributed. If you have questions about this project, please call Heidi at 910.678.2753.
Note: Last year, Heidi sent $300.00 worth to four schools! The schools are very grateful for the support.
Soda Can Pop Tops-
CCC-NCAEOP along with the Preschool Speech Department is collecting pop tops from soda cans for about 4+ years. The proceeds from these go to the Ronald McDonald House to help families with sick children pay for their stay. This is a year round project.
Note: Since 2013 we collected enough for 20 nights!
Kartridges for Kidz – Dazz Cycle
CCC-NCAEOP is collecting empty printer cartridges! With help from Kartridges for Kidz (Dazz Cycle) we are recycling empty cartridges and receiving cash for them. This project is helping raise money for the CCC-NCAEOP Scholarship Fund. To date we have raised $6827.08 If you have empty cartridges at your office, you can send them via courier in an envelope or a box to Anne Terry in the Technology Department. If you have questions, call Anne at 678.2549.
